U2 will indeed play a number of dates starting this fall at the new state of the art MSG Sphere being finished up in Las Vegas! The band made the announcement via a short video during the SuperBowl, and a press release as well. Below is the extended version of the video promoting, U2:UV Achtung Baby. Drummer Larry Mullen Jr. will not be behind the drum kit, as he will be having surgery, but he and the band are welcoming drummer Bram van den Berg…who should be quite capable of stepping in! I’ve also posted a video of Bram’s drumming below. Exact dates and ticket info will be coming soon, and I plan on doing everything I can to make a show…having not seen U2 live since the Vertigo tour…hard to believe that was almost 20 years ago! ~ Ron
