I had the chance to talk on the phone with Gregg Rolie before his 2nd induction into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame.  We talked about him playing at Woodstock, how Santana IV came together, and if he’s heard from Neal Schon or Steve Perry.

Gregg founded both Santana and Journey and was the lead singer on Santana songs “Black Magic Woman“, “Oye Como Va“, “Evil Ways”, and “No One To Depend On“.  Gregg is already in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Santana and was just inducted again for his work with Journey.

The ceremony will air on HBO on Saturday, April 29th.
