After spending time on YouTube with U2 videos, I found the version of Desire I like the best. The studio version is great, don’t get me wrong, but this version I like best. When I saw the movie Rattle And Hum, this song hit me hard. I love the way the band is set up..Bono facing The Edge. The expansive building adding that sound to the recording. The sound board, the reel to reel tape recording everything…..man, it just is so cool. I think I watched the video 4 times in a row, full screen with headphones on, cranked! No wonder I need hearing aids! Better than the single, watch for yourself below.
