One of the most common questions radio DJ’s get is, “what do you listen to when you’re not on the air?”.

Here’s a screen shot of what I’ve been digging this week.

I’m going to see Five Finger Death Punch, Breaking Benjamin, Nevermore and Bad Wolves on Friday so I’m listening to Bad Wolves to get to know some of their songs.

I’ve been tryiing to learn “Love Me Two Times” on the acoustic so that started my Doors kick.

I already knew how to play “Santa Monica” on guitar but I found out I was playing it wrong so I was listening to the song again to figure that out.

Dizzy Reed is the keyboardist for Guns N’ Roses and his new solo album just came out so I gave that a listen.

I listen to Black Sabbath every week so that’s no suprise.

I randomly was thinking about how heave the riffs from Korn’s 1st album were so I wanted to check that out again.

Audioslave was because I was listening to Ann Wilson’s cover of “I Am The Highway” and that lead me down an Audioslave rabbit whole

…And Gregg Allman is Gregg Allman.  I think his last album “Southern Blood” is just really well done and I pop that in from time to time
