It’s a appropriate title.  Steve Lukather is one of the guitar greats no one seems to remember is a guitar great. Toto, solo work, and a looooooong list of studio work, it’s time to heat the stories.  September 18th is when we are promised the book, and I for one find it hard to wait.  I am a Toto fan, and have been for years, way before the song Africa really made them big.  And there are quite a few Toto albums out there that some people might be unfamiliar with. One of those albums is Tambu, the ninth Toto studio album.  One of my favorite songs on that LP is “Drag Him To The Roof”, an I have provided a live version of it for you below.  Not only does this video show Steve’ guitar skills, it shows how much fun he has on stage, surrounded by other excellent musicians…leland Sklar, Simon Phillips, and of course the great Bobby Kimball!  Although Steve sings lead on the studio version, the vocals here are amazing.  Tek 8 minutes and 45 seconds and enjoy!
