Led Zeppelin for Record Store Day is releasing a limited edition 7″ vinyl Sunset Sound Mix single of “Rock And Roll” on one side and a Olympic Studio Mix of “Friends” on the other, both produced by Jimmy Page himself.
Being the obssesive fan that I am I picked up an advanced copy yesterday. The inside of the record has this this killer triangle design.
Then this morning I found this live recording of \”How Many More Times\” that I\’d never seen before. Bonham was a man possessed. If there were 2 artists I\’d go back in time to see live it would be Elvis and Led Zeppelin.
I\’d also never really seen Page with a Telecaster, I always equated him with the sunburst Les Paul and his iconic double-neck Gibson. The Telecaster seen in this video was a gift from Jeff Beck and was repainted with a psychedelic dragon designed by Jimmy and used during his time with the Yardbirds.
