Foo Fighters + Aerosmith + Oasis

At a festival called “Cal Jam ’17” on Saturday, The Foo Fighters welcomed Joe Perry from Aerosmith and Liam Gallagher from Oasis on stage to play “Come Together” written by The Beatles.  Aerosmith recorded a version of “Come Together” in 1978 for the movie and soundtrack of “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” which they appeared in.  Perry also played a version of “Draw The Line” by Aerosmith with the Foo Fighters on Saturday.  Check out the pictures here and video is posted below.

Joe Perry was available because Aerosmith just canceled their South American Tour as Steven Tyler had to seek medical help in the US for a mysterious issue neither him nor his daughter, actress Liv Tyler, have explained.

Foo Fighters lead singer Dave Grohl did not address the recent passing of Tom Petty on stage as other bands at “Cal Jam ’17” did.  Grohl was the drummer for Nirvana until Kurt Cobain’s suicide in 1994 and then was offered the drummer position with Tom Petty,  even playing drums for them on Saturday Night Live.  Dave turned down Tom Petty to form his own band, The Foo Fighters, who will be performing in Idaho for the 1st time since 1995 at the Ford Idaho Center in December.

It appears in the videothat Liam Gallagher is reading the lyrics while performing the song and eventually pulls a fan up to help him out.
