
Chester Bennington from Linkin Park has committed suicide at the age of 41 according to band member Mike Shinoda.
Chester has been the lead singer of Linkin Park since 1999 and also filled in as the lead singer of the Stone Temple Pilots from 2012 to 2017. He had a side project called “Dead by Sunrise” which released an album in 2009. Chester leaves behind 5 children with 3 different women plus an adopted sun Isaiah. Chester was found around 9 AM on Thursday, July 20th which is the birthday of Chris Cornell from Soundgarden who committed suicide by hanging in May of 2017 after a concert in Detroit. Chester reportedly also committed suicide by hanging and here is the letter Chester wrote to Chris Cornell when he heard of his death.
