I have watched some of the YouTube videos of people hearing a classic song for the first time. Some are fun, some are not, but this one? This….this made me smile, laugh, and I really enjoyed her reaction to hearing Spirit Of Radio for the first time. I have not done any research into this person, but from the YouTube description, she is a vocal coach and opera singer, so no stranger to music that is interesting, and dare I say challenging. I have watched this three times now, and the joy she has in this discovery palpable. There are so many noteworthy moments, and I don’t’ want to spoil them for you. Her insights are pretty spot on, and I heard some things after she mentions them that I didn’t hear before. Now, it will take you about 24 minutes to watch the whole thing, but it is well worth it. It’s always cool to watch someone “Get It”. She gets it.
