On This Day In History…..

January 16, 1988, George Harrison hit Number 1 with “I Got My Mind Set On You”, from his Cloud Nine album.  It was his last US hit, and is a cover song, written by Rudy Clark and recorded by James Ray in 1962 as “I’ve Got My Mind Set On You”.  There were two videos release for the song, and the second is the one I think most of us saw.  MTV was still playing music videos, and this one is one of the videos that caught my eye, and not just because it was George.  So let’s relive the moment, eh?
