Number One on This Day in History

The year, 1969.  Hard to believe that this song was number one for eight weeks, making it the longest running number one by a one hit wonder.  It’s also the first number one performed by cartoon characters, so that probably gives it away.  i did find a video done by real live humans, and it is so, well, maybe interesting is the right word, that I had to share.  The Archies, and Sugar Sugar!
