March 1st, 1973.  45 years ago today, Pink Floyd released the landmark album “Dark Side of the Moon”. It was on the Billboard Top LPs & Tapes for 741 weeks from 1973 to 1988 selling around 45 million copies sold, it is Pink Floyd’s best selling ever and the 3rd best selling album of all time behind Michael Jackson’s “Thriler” and “Back In Black” from AC/DC.
