New Year’s Resolutions

New Year’s Resolutions haven’t always worked out for me in the past, but I’m willing to try again.
1) No soda
I did this last year and made it 6 months.  It bloats me and makes my stomach hurt.  Plus this is eye opening.

2) Read
Read more books, spend less time on my phone.  Mostly this is while I’m in the bathroom and the 1/2 hour in bed before I fall asleep.  So far I’ve rented 2 books from the libary and it’s still the 1st week of January so I’m off to a good start.  I picked up “The Journals of Lewis & Clark” plus “Theodore Roosevelt on Hunting“.  Don’t mind my book mark, I always save funeral cards for this reason.  It’s kind of weird but it helps me remeber the people in my life that are no longer here.

 

I’m for 4 days in and so far so good.  Hope I can keep it up. – Forrest
