Honky Tonk Women Unplugged

When I’m in the studio I’ll play a documentary or live show on the big screen in between songs, muting it when I talk.  Yesterday I was watching, “Olé Olé Olé!: A Trip Across Latin America” by The Rolling Stones.

There’s a scene where Mick & Keith are in the dressing room playing, “Honky Tonk Women” and it’s so good it’s almost religous.  It’s one of those moments that you get why a band is a band.  “Oh, they can write good songs with just a guitar and a singer”.  No tricks, no gimmicks, no social media infulence, just the GD Rolling Stones.  Now I’m thinking about trying to see them in Seattle in August.  I mean, how much longer can they do this? – Forrest
