The David Gilmour Guitar Collection

On June 20th, David Gilmour from Pink Floyd will auctioning off more than 120 of his guitars at Christie’s in New York for charity. Some of the guitars for sale will include:

His famous black Fender Stratocaster known as “The Black Strat” that was used to record the albums “Dark Side of the Moon” 1973, “Wish You Were Here” in 1975, and “The Wall” in 1979. The guitar is estimated to go for $100,000-150,000.

A 1954 White Fender Stratocaster used on “Another Brick In the Wall (Parts 2 and 3)” is estimated between $100,000-150,000 and was

A 1955 Gibson Les Paul used on the guitar solo for “Another Brick In the Wall (Part 2)” is estimated between $30,000-50,000,

A Candy Apple Red 1984 Stratocaster 57V used during on the albums and tours for “A Momentary Lapse of Reason” in 1987 and “The Division Bell” in 1994, is estimated at $15,000-25,000.
