Okay, these covers are pretty good.  Billie Joe Armstrong is the lead singer and guitar player from Green Day and he also is in the bands Pinhead Gunpowder, Foxboro Hot Tubs, The Network, and The Longshot.  New Year’s Eve he showed up in a band called “The Coverups” playing Bowie, Mott The Hoople (Bowie again), The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin/The Knack, Bryan Adams and Nirvana songs exclaiming, “it’s so different when it’s from your generation” before playing “Drain You”.  Guns N’ Roses bassist Duff McKagan jumped on stage for a cover of “The Damned” here – Forrest
