AC/DC’s Malcolm Young passed away at the age of 64 on Saturday, November 18th, 2017.  He co-founded the band in 1973 with his brother Angus where he was the rhythm guitarist, song writer, and backing vocalist through 2014 when it was announced he was retiring due to issues with dementia.  Angus admitted Malcolm was struggling to remember songs during AC/DC’s “Black Ice World Tour” which ran from 2008-2010.  At the end of that tour, Malcolm was treated for lung cancer and wore a pacemaker for an undisclosed heart issue.  One of the last public pictures of Malcolm can be seen here.

Angus and Malcolm’s older brother George had just passed away on October 22nd.  George produced several of the AC/DC’s albums including many of the bands earlier releases.

Here are some tributes from other bands and rock stars over the weekend.
