RHCP Drummer in Kansas

Before moving to Boise, Idaho I lived in Kansas for 7 years.  I used to not only go to a ton of concerts but also a lot of sporting events.  K-State football games in Manhattan, hundreds of Sporting Kansas City games in Kansas City, Kansas City Royals games and even a few Kanas City Chiefs games.  My favorite though were the KU basketball games.  Hearing the “Rock Chalk” chant at the end while the crowd does the famous “fields of wheat sway” will send chills down your spine.  Basketball is a religion in that town.  James Naismith inveted the game in 1891 and founded the University of Kansas basketball program.  Wilt Chammerlain played there from 1953-1958.  Often times at KU Games I’d see celebrites in the crowd like Paul Rudd who went to college there and SNL alum Jason Sudeikis who is from Overland Park, Kansas.  This week guess who was at the game?  The drummer from the Red Hot Chili Peppers covering Jimi Hendrix with the college band – check it out! – Forrest
