I’ve always played “Nothing Else Matters” with standard tuning so the first few notes are all open, this kid must be playing with a different guitar tuning but he absolutely destroys it!  If you want to learn how to play Metallica songs you can pick up some of the Hal Leonard guitar tab books I’ve bought from Musicians Friend online here.  (I usually find them in local stores)
